President's Message

Fellow members:

I would like to thank everyone for their support of the Chapter’s 2009/2010 program year. Overall the year was a huge success. The fundraising activities of the chapter were a great
success and even got the Chapter mentioned in the International ISACA newsletter. I want to thank Doug Menendez for heading this project. He did a fantastic job.

Our last meeting of the 2009/2010 program year will be the May meeting on the 19th at the St. Louis Marriott West. It will be breakfast meeting. The topic is “Where We’ve Been; Where We Are; Where We’re Headed.” Following the May meeting is a two-day seminar on “How to Complete a Risk Assessment in 5 Days or Less!” If you do not receive an invitation please email me at jstreif@uhyus.com and I will make sure you get one.

We will be sending out a survey to identify topics of interest for the 2010/2011 program year. Please take 5 minutes to go through and fill out the survey as it helps us put on programs of interest to the membership. As always please feel free to send me any suggestions for programs. Also if you want to help with any committee or become more involved with the chapter we would love to hear from you.

The May meeting is the last meeting that I will preside over as the Chapter’s president. I want to thank the board for all their help in making my two years as president a fun and successful term. Without their many hours of help the chapter wouldn’t be able to put on the programs and function as smooth as it has over the years.
