President's Message

Fellow members:

Well, another year for the Chapter has begun. As I write, we’ve already had great participation during or first two sessions for the year, in September and October.

As introduction, I’ve been involved with the Chapter for some time, starting when Michael Birardi was president, where I assisted in finding speakers for our monthly meetings. That is always the most challenging and rewarding aspect of our delivery to our membership. Please, feel free to contact any of our board members if you have suggestions or ideas on how to improve our session topics and speakers.

Its hard to believe that we are moving into the Holiday Season already! This is always as busy and challenging point in many of our lives: wrapping up audits, SOX work and trying to balance a busy workday with the holidays. However, I encourage you to take advantage of our planned sessions. We have some interesting and informative sessions in the works, and know you will find them of value. We will announce these once they have been planned and scheduled.

I would also encourage you to take time to explore the new updated ISACA website (https://www.isaca.org). Many new features, services and informational sources have been added over the past months.

I look forward to serving the Chapter as President for the next two years. I am very fortunate to have a great supporting cast in the board and committee members. We, as your Chapter leadership, will strive to provide you the best service, support, education and information.
